Easy Technorati Tags for WordPress

There are a few other Technorati Tags generators for WordPress out there but I found most of them overly complicated and fairly difficult to use, often requiring custom fields or complex processes. What this plugin does is takes the native tags from WordPress and generates a list of Technorati tags for your blog.
Usage
To use the Easy Technorati Tags for WordPress plugin, simply download and install onto your WordPress website. You can then add it to your theme by inserting the code <?php echo timu_technorati_tags() ;?> to your blog theme files or to a sidebar widget.
Output
The tag generates a comma separated list of tags complete with Technorati links. I choose to return it as a value rather than write it directly so that if you’d like to make changes or process the results, you can do it easy.
You can download the plugin directly from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Don’t forget to rate the plugin if you’ve enjoyed it.

Can I install this plugin on a blog at wordpress org?
I just found this plugin via a problogger article on how to increase traffic. I just moved my myspace blog to a self hosted wordpress and am interested in SEO. I spent about 2 weeks over Christmas manually tagging TWO YEARS worth of blog entries.

I tried adding our real estate blog to Technorati but they have us as being ‘flagged!’ I’ve contacted their tech support and haven’t received a response. I wonder how one gets out of their flagged folder. I also wonder how a person gets flagged. :(

Technorati tags are available. However, you probably shouldn’t display the tags right on your website, since it offers the reader a chance to become distracted and wander away from your site. Technorati’s content comes from your RSS feed, so it’s really only imperative that the tags are found there. Try AutoMeta for a quality WordPress plug-in.
I’m in a class (right now as I write this) for WordPress and hoping a lot of this will be covered in the class. Chris, perhaps some WordPress webinars are in order from you. That would be cool, and I would certainly be in attendance.

Thanks for the plugin. Reading the comments on this post convinced me to get this plugin for my website. I’m still learning how to use Technorati so basically, I may not use the plugin yet. I’m saving it once I get more familiar with Technoarti.
To me, Technorati is something really new to me, but I found a recommendation from Court’s Internet Marketing School so I just searched it from Wordpress Plugin. I hope this really works for me to increase traffic because my blog has miserable traffic.
