I am facing the problem of the smiley face from the Stats plugin. I have trying to use your plugin to remove it, but failed, it still bring my side bar after the contents. Wow, I had no idea about the fact that that was remotely hosted.

I’m surprised that more people haven’t got uptight about the privacy concerns that an issue like this should raise!

Doing what you’re doing here is only hiding the image from view though, not removing the call to the remote server.

But I guess if you’re giving over your stat tracking to an external entity, this is the price you pay.

thanks! i did not know about word press. Its a new technique and it is very helpful for the designers. It is a tool that is useful for many feautres.
