I know I should be calling my mother but …
When I was down in New Orleans a few weeks back I got to see a Kindle in action and have to say that I was blown away by the device, I just can’t wait to see the new one. Speaking of which, TechCrunch has a nice article on Kindle piracy this morning.
How rich are we? “The number of households with a discretionary income over $500,000 went from approximately 118,000 to 92,000 — the first drop since 1997.” great piece called How the Wealthy are Spending Their Money This Year that takes a look at how us superrich (cough) cats are spending our money in tough times. Apparently the rich are becoming less rich, poor little darlings. Speaking of the economy, I love following the clusterfuck we call the auto industry and this morning is no different, Brian has a great piece on it.
What else am I reading? The usual … Google controls 73% of the search market these days, Sears and Kmart are getting a lot better at social media marketing and Darren at ProBlogger put together a sweet piece on having a blogging Business Model.
Little know fact … I’m so far east of New York that I’m actually in a different time zone, so now that I’ve spent most of my morning reading I think it’s late enough in the EST to call mom without seeming cruel. Happy Mothers Day everybody. Chris

lol..you should call your mom before reading this. :P I’ve called up my mom in the afternoon and said “Happy Mother’s Day!”. Mother is always the best in the world, you’re here because of your mother. Treat them as good as you can and love them forever! :D

nice, this day is very important for us…
Interesting article on how the rich are spending these days. I can’t believe some of them are actually worried about running out of money. I’m worried about running out of money every time I go buy groceries!
